Description
Zerodol 100 MG Tablet is a painkiller. It provides relief from pain, stiffness, and swelling due to various conditions related to your bone and joints. It is also used to provide relief from headaches, toothaches, backaches, menstrual pain, sprains, and strains. Zerodol 100 MG Tablet works by preventing the release of a chemical substance that causes pain and swelling in your body.Zerodol 100 MG Tablet can cause side effects like dizziness, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, indigestion, and diarrhoea. These side effects subside by themselves. However, consult your doctor if they remain for a long time or become severe.Zerodol 100 MG Tablet can be taken with a meal to avoid stomach irritation. Your doctor will determine the dose and duration of treatment based on the severity of your condition. Avoid taking more than the prescribed dose. For the ease of remembering, take it at around the same time every day. Take this medicine for the complete duration of treatment. Avoid the discontinuation of Zerodol 100 MG Tablet without consulting your doctor as your symptoms may come back.Zerodol 100 MG Tablet is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you have high blood pressure or high cholesterol levels. Use this medicine with caution if you have heart, liver, and/or kidney problems. Zerodol 100 MG Tablet is not recommended in children below 18 years of age as the safety and efficacy data is not established. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding before taking this medicine.

Allergy
Avoid taking Zerodol 100 MG Tablet if you are allergic to it. Serious allergic reactions to this medicine are rare. However, seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms such as skin rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, breathing difficulty, etc.
Asthma
Asthma is a condition in which your airways narrow and cause breathing difficulty. Zerodol 100 MG Tablet is not recommended for use if you have a history of asthma after taking NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines like paracetamol, ibuprofen, aspirin, etc.).
Gastrointestinal bleeding
Peptic Ulcers are sores on the lining of your stomach and intestine. It may further lead to bleeding in the stomach and intestine. The symptoms are blood in stools/vomit, black coloured stool, and cramps in the stomach. Zerodol 100 MG Tablet is not recommended for use if you have active or a history of repetitive peptic ulcers and bleeding as it may worsen your condition.
Severe Liver/Kidney Impairment
Zerodol 100 MG Tablet is not recommended for use if you have severe liver and/or kidney problems. This medicine may further damage your liver and/or kidneys and worsen your condition.

Pregnancy
Zerodol 100 MG Tablet is not recommended for use during pregnancy especially in the third trimester (last 3 months) as it may harm your foetus. During the first 6 months of pregnancy, this medicine should only be used upon your doctor's recommendation.
Breast-feeding
It is not known if Zerodol 100 MG Tablet passes into breastmilk. Hence this medicine is not recommended for use while breastfeeding. If required, this medicine should only be used upon your doctor's recommendation.
General warnings
Heart disease
Avoid long-term use of a high dose of Zerodol 100 MG Tablet if you have pre-existing heart conditions like heart failure (a condition in which your heart is unable to pump a sufficient amount of blood), ischaemic heart diseases (heart problems due to narrowing of the blood vessels that supply oxygen to the heart), etc. This medicine may cause fluid retention (abnormal build-up of fluid in the body) and also increase the risk of a heart attack. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
Skin rash
Zerodol 100 MG Tablet may cause skin allergies in some cases. If you observe any symptoms like rashes, hives (itchy and painful eruption), or other allergic symptoms, consult your doctor immediately.
Use in children
Zerodol 100 MG Tablet is not recommended for use in children below 18 years of age as the safety and efficacy data is not established.
Driving or operating machines
Zerodol 100 MG Tablet may cause sleepiness, blurred vision, or dizziness in some cases. Avoid driving vehicles or operating heavy machines if you experience such symptoms after taking this medicine.
Bleeding disorders
Zerodol 100 MG Tablet may prolong the blood clotting time and increase the risk of bleeding. Hence, use this medicine with caution if you have bleeding or clotting defects such as haemophilia (a condition that affects the body's ability to form a proper blood clot), vitamin K deficiency, and hypoprothrombinemia (deficiency of blood clotting substance).
Impaired liver function
Use Zerodol 100 MG Tablet with caution if you have liver problems as this medicine is broken down in your liver. Hence, it may lead to the accumulation of the medicine and increase the risk of side effects. It may also cause further liver damage. Your doctor may suggest tests to monitor your liver functions and liver enzyme levels while taking this medicine.
Systemic lupus erythematosus
Systemic lupus erythematosus is a condition in which your own immune system attacks your body. This can affect the skin, joints, kidneys, lungs, brain, etc. The symptoms are skin rash, joint pain, and tiredness. Use Zerodol 100 MG Tablet with caution if you have systemic lupus erythematosus as it may further worsen your condition.
Missed Dose
Try not to skip the dose of Zerodol 100 MG Tablet. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double the dose to make up for the missed one.
Overdose
Never take more than the prescribed dose of Zerodol 100 MG Tablet. Seek emergency medical attention in case of overdose for further guidance.

Prolonged use of high doses of Zerodol 100 MG Tablet may cause kidney problems. Hence, use this medicine cautiously if you have mild to moderate kidney problems. Your doctor may suggest tests to closely monitor your kidney function while taking this medicine.
