saving dinner
A wonderful help for any mom, who is out of ideas and time at dinner time. My family loves these recipes, even a few I thought they wouldn't. They are healthy, fairly easy, and affordable. This is a cookbook you will use, every week, month after month. Mine is full of pages with food stains, a sign of a well used recipe, stars to note the dinners the kids really like, and notes to remind me if I should double for later. A wonderful addition to our family.

I bought this product to make easy healthy dinners for my family. I like how much easier grocery shopping is when a full plan for the whole week is available. I like the paperback size of the book - I just throw it in my purse and go! I have never seen a cookbook that combines the ingredients for each recipe into a weekly shopping list - this book makes weekly meal planning so easy!I bought 3 copies. One for me and 2 for friends. eBay's direct shipping made it easy.

Loving it
My darling husband has told me in the past that I was not a very good cook, and he never asked for something I made again. With Saving Dinner there has not been one dinner that he has not requested to be put on the menu at another time (granted we only eat the chicken recipes and a few of the beef, I don't eat or cook fish, pork or ground meat of any kind). This book has giving me the confidences I needed to start enjoying cooking that I have even started making my own pasta to go with our meals ;D))) PLUS my PIKY eater is eating everything on her plate even those yukey onions!

Saving dinner certainly helps sometimes!
I love the way this lady writes! I think she combines wit, humor and good advice in a very easy to read, and understand, way. Some of the main courses will never be tried by me....my husband and I are really basic meat and potatoes kind of people...but the ideas she has can certainly get my creativity to moving again...thanks Leanne!
