Friday Night Funkin’ Online VS. is a multiplayer mod/fangame of Friday Night Funkin by TheBlueHatted which adds 90+ songs. The mods main tagline is that it doesn't require port forwarding or any other outside programs for it to run.

Unlike other Friday Night Funkin' mods, it uses Clickteam Fusion, a script-free game engine as its engine of choice compared to most other mods which usually use the base games engine or a fork of it.

Vs. Hank Challenge[]

On September 14th 2021, a bonus challenge song was added to the main menu. The song, titled "Accelerant", puts the player against Hank J. Wimbleton, with an additional appearance from Tricky and cameos of Sanford, Deimos, Grunts, 1337 Agents and ATP Engineers, and can only be played on either Hard or f*cked difficulty (f*cked is unlocked once the player beats the song on Hard). This song was added in celebration of Madness Day 2021, and was originally available until September 22nd, however this was extended to the 29th of September, and then to the 5th of October. The challenge is now permanently available, but players need to obtain the 'Exaggerated Swagger' rank in order to access it.

Beating Accelerant on Hard unlocks Hank as a playable character, while beating Accelerant on the f*cked difficulty unlocks Mag Hank as a playable character.

Vs. Edd and Uberkids Challenge[]

On Janurary 30th 2022, 2 New song additions were introduced with them being Challeng-Edd and Uberkids. Both of the challenges will be available until the 1st of June and is now permanently available.

Unloaded[]

Unloaded's main opponent of the song are the Uberkids, recurring antagonists of the Pico series, unlike other challenges, the playable character of the song will be Pico, the eponymous protagonist of his own series.

Beating Unloaded on Hard unlocks an Uberkid as a playable character, while beating Unloaded on the f*cked difficulty unlocks Nene & Darnell as playable characters.

Challeng-EDD[]

Challeng-Edd's main opponent of the song is Edd, the main protagonist of Eddsworld. Depending on what difficulty you play on, there will be different cameos. Playing it on Hard will make the NeighBORES show up (with Eduardo being the singer), playing on f*cked difficulty will cause Tord to show up. When the NeighBORES or Tord shows up, Edd will team up with Boyfriend.

Beating Challeng-EDD on Hard unlocks Edd as a playable character, while beating Challeng-EDD on the f*cked difficulty unlocks Tord as a playable character.

Vs. Alien Hominid & Sportsman Challenge[]

On October 7th, 2 new song additions were introduced, being Roadkill & Anywhere, USA.

Roadkill[]

Roadkill's main opponent are the Sportsmen, the main antagonists of TANKMEN 2. Much like Unloaded, the playable character is not Boyfriend. Rather, Tankman is the playable character of this challenge.

Beating Roadkill on Hard unlocks a Sportsman as a playable character, while beating Roadkill on the f*cked difficulty unlocks Steve as a playable character.

Anywhere, USA[]

Anywhere, USA's first opponent is Alien Hominid, the main protagonist of the series under the same name. The 2nd opponent of the challenge is the Install Ball if the f*cked difficulty is selected.

Beating Anywhere, USA on Hard unlocks Alien Hominid as a playable character, while beating Anywhere, USA on the f*cked difficulty unlocks the Fat Kid as a playable character.
